No crowded salon floor. A quiet, personal setting with a dedicated wash station and styling chair — space to relax, take a meeting, or simply be. Since 2019, every appointment here has been a true collaboration.

Specializing in seamless dimensional balayage, blonding, brunette work, and color correction — with layered and lob haircuts to finish the look. Pricing is discussed in consultation, so the plan fits your hair and your goals.

Questions, answered
Do I need an appointment?
Yes — Krown of Shades is appointment only, generally 9am to 6pm with flexible scheduling. Book through the Square booking site; new clients should also fill out the new-client intake form.
How long do appointments take?
Anywhere from about 2.5 hours for touch-ups to 6 or more hours for larger lightening sessions.
Is there wifi? Can I work during my appointment?
Yes. The studio is a private, quiet, one-on-one space — many clients work or even take full meetings during their appointment.
How often should I come back for color?
Lightening sessions are typically recommended 2 to 4 times a year depending on your lifestyle, with toner touch-up appointments every 6 to 8 weeks in between.
How should I care for my hair afterward?
Kheyli recommends not washing your hair for 24 to 72 hours after your appointment. She will also go over a full product regimen and build a custom routine based on your hair's needs.
Will you teach me how to take care of my hair?
Yes — Kheyli works with every client on a custom routine and teaches you how to maintain your hair between visits.
Do you offer extensions, perms, or Brazilian blowouts?
No — Krown of Shades does not offer extensions, perms, Brazilian blowouts (chemical straightening), razor cuts, or buzz cuts.
Where do I park?
Park in the structure below Paseo Plaza and bring your ticket with you — validation is offered, and the first 90 minutes are free.
Can I bring my kids?
There is no strict no-kids policy, but appointments are generally for adults.
What forms of payment do you take?
Zelle, Venmo, cash, and credit card (credit card payments carry a 5% processing fee).
What is your cancellation policy?
Reschedule at least 48 hours ahead and your deposit transfers to the new appointment. With less than 24 hours' notice, the deposit is forfeited. Deposits are usually $100 for color services.
How much does a haircut cost?
A standalone haircut is $225; paired with a color service it is $150. Color services are discussed in consultation.
